Networking
The necessity to work intensely as a network is very important in the area of transport because the demand for complex, intermodal total systems is growing. Last not least, the trend to concentrate on core competency has resulted in large companies in the traffic technology sector also being increasingly dependent on reliable, trustworthy and sustainable cooperation relationships.
As an instigator for the initiation of multidisciplinary transport projects, FAV's work is based on their support networks, the company network and the research network. Their interplay in the FAV "Traffic and mobility" network has a special significance. As FAV coordinates both networks, is aware of the members' competencies and brings the partners together in topic-related project phases, we guarantee quick access to appropriate companies and research institutes for the compilation of problem-orientated project teams.
In terms of intense involvement of regional players, strategic
alliances are founded with foreign institutions, fulfilling a comparable
function as a network manager in their respective region. The strategic
partnerships provide speedy access to suitable research institutes, companies
and operators abroad, enabling the creation of international networks.
The FAV is a member and exemplary network in Kompetenznetze Deutschland,
